The Inevitable Place

We’ve all been in that place, a place that’s different for everyone yet similar in a way where everyone wants to flee from. Circumstances that made us feel as if the entire universe was intentionally dragging us down to our lowest. Despite desperately wanting to break free, it felt inescapable and trapped as it came about over and over again. As bad as it sounds, is everything about this place dreadful? If you’d ask me, I’d say it’s bittersweet; a place that reinforced the little things in life; our strength, our hope and our will to go on no matter how hard it gets. Most importantly, it’s a beautiful place that constantly makes us believe that better days are yet to come and are therefore never ending.
